While tap-dancing preceded piano studies, my true passion involved life out-of-doors. The third of seven children, home to my very creative family was within a turn-of-the-century neighborhood of Denver, Colorado, next to Chessman Park.

Although classically trained, I found inspiration in folk tunes, musicals, the Beatles, J. S. Bach, and then in my late teens, discovered jazz - wow! The expanded scales, chords and stylings taught to me by teacher Ted Alexander brought a whole new world. Later when in college, I expanded into this jazz world and began playing percussion with an emphasis on vibes and marimba. However, having returned to my roots, I play primarily piano at present.

After receipt of a music degree, I took a detour into architecture (I am a licensed architect and enjoy residential design but much prefer design of music). Later, in spiritual pursuit, I found a niche playing in churches, which is typically where you might find me on weekends. Of late, during the week, I've been known to play occasional evenings with Joe Green and 'Brio Trio' in downtown Denver's Mercury Café.

Of further interest, selections from "Wreath of Wind" have been used in two documentary film productions. Other original compositions include a Mass, a Passion Play and numerous songs, with and without lyrics. "Wreath of Wind", a well-received project, has inspired and challenged me in numerous ways; spiritually, musically and personally.

Married, I have been graced with a daughter and son, a dog and residence near to the turn-of-the-century neighborhood of my youth.

Peace to you and yours, with all sincerity...
